HOW IS DIGITALIZATION DISPLACING PEOPLE

ONLINE BANKING
‘Also to investigate the effect of performance risk, social risk, time risk, financial risk and security risk on the intention to use internet banking. Social Risk (SOR) has to do with the possibility of negative responses from the social networks of consumers [17]. In the online banking context, social risk relates to the potential hazards by the customers due to lack of contact or 1904 interaction with bank employees [16]. The studies of Chen [4], Featherman & Pavlou [11], and Martins et al. [18] have shown that social risk is negatively related to intention to use’. Next to this kind of risk we are convinced (looking at our personal life) that people who don’t understand or consciously choose not to have a phone or computer can't take part with the banking system if everything is digitalized.

‘Communicatie steeds meer digitaal
Overheidsorganisaties gaan hun dienstverlening steeds meer digitaal regelen. Dit is voor veel mensen sneller en makkelijker. Dat geldt niet voor iedereen. Daarom maakt de overheid digitale diensten toegankelijker en gebruiksvriendelijker. Zolang nog veel mensen het lastig vinden hun zaken met de overheid digitaal te regelen, blijven er alternatieven bestaan’.

WHY USING HUMOR
‘The humor effect is a cognitive bias that causes people to remember information better when they perceive it as humorous. One of the main benefits of humor is that people are generally better able to remember information that they perceive as humorous, compared to information that they don’t perceive as humorous. Humor increases energy levels. Reading or viewing something humorous has a positive and energizing effect. This is beneficial for people’s overall wellbeing, and can help improve people’s memory of material encountered after the humorous material was viewed.”
